Operational Roles

Executive Director

Station Director

The old position of 'operations manager' has been retitled to 'station manager'. It is expected that some of the duties of the station director will be shared with volunteers.

Program Director

Historically this role has been filled strictly by a volunteer. This task has grown as the amount of locally produced and sponsored shows continues to grow. We plan to compensate at $50/week for the duty to be filled.

Technical Director

No funding at this time. This is a critical role that needs to be addressed for the ongoing success of the organization. Duties include the design and maintenance of all technical aspects of MCTV 15. This would include the cameras, lighting, control room, audio, editing, location equipment and playback equipment.

Volunteer Director

No funding at this time.

Government Director

This position is a major new project for MCTV 15. The plan is to have a paid production person attend each and every city council and planning commission meeting. That person would be responsible for a multi-camera production complete with titles displaying agenda details. The production will be recorded to DVD for additional playback and archival.
