PRE/POST PRODUCTION PROCEDURES

Pre-Production Proceures

Ensure clip board next to Tri Caster has a Production Information Form (kept on clip board, east wall shelving unit, top shelf) and a Production Agreement Form (kept on programming desk middle shelf) prior to every show being recorded in the studio

Ensure Producer of the show completes and signs the Production Agreement Form and pays the $25 fee (either cash or check) prior to the show being recorded. Fill out a receipt from the receipt book (kept in the top drawer of the Station Director's desk.(make sure the carbon paper is between the white and yellow copies). Give the person their receipt but leave the yellow copy in the receipt book.

Paper clip together the two forms and the money collected and put them in the bottom left hand drawer of Station Director's Desk.

Post Production Procedures

Producer gets the backup copy. The master goes on the spindle on the programming desk.

Complete a Dubbing Request Form (kept on clip board, east wall shelving unit, top shelf) for each person making a request for a copy of a show. Collect the money either cash or check and complete a receipt as above before making the copies.
If a person doesn't have the money to pay at the time of the request, complete the Dubbing Request Form and put it on the top shelf of the Station Director's desk. Advise them that they will be contacted by the Station Director when to pick up their copies.

Follow the procedures in the Procedure Manual (kept on the south wall shelving unit, top shelf) to make DVD copies and labels.

If Producers want to book a future show, complete a Studio Request Form and leave it on the top shelf of the Station Director's desk. You can write the show name or producer name on the Dry Erase Board on the wall in the appropriate date and time slot (make sure you only use Dry Erase Markers for this not Permanent Markers) and enter the same information (in pencil only) on the Calendar Page attached to the Dry Erase Board.
Note: Only MCTV 15 Producers in good standing can book Studio Time
