How to Load pictures into Tri Caster
- Put memory stick into Tri Caster drive
- Click Capture Media tab
-then click producers tab
-click tricaster
-click appropriate drive i.e. E: drive
-choose pictures you want to copy, select copy
- Click Producers
-find the Producer Folder
-find the picture folder or create folder
-paste picture inside this folder
- You can now take memory stick out
- Click Live Production Tab
-click VCR & Picture tab
-In Picture Playlist – click Add,
-then choose the producer folder, choose pictures that you saved
-to load more than one picture at a time, click the first picture, hold down the shift key and click the last picture
- You can change the order of the pictures by dragging and dropping them
- When you play pictures, you can add transitions,
Live and Next --> in Pic Tab
PLAY Pictures by using the Space Bar? - tap once to bring picture up and again to bring picture down.
DO NOT use the controls under the picture viewer (left or right arrows) as these tend to cause the tricaster to fail
Tricaster Credits
To RUN Tricaster Credits: Spacebar + letter K
- click on the VCR Button on the NEXT line of buttons
(located in the center of the screen below the LIVE line of buttons)
- click on the VCR & Picture tab
- (in the VCR Playlist column) – click on the credits ( .avi file)
- Hit the SPACE BAR then hit the letter K on the keyboard
(Do not hit any other keys while credits are playing as this may cause the tricaster to fail)
To REWIND Credits:
hold down the Control Key – Ctrl and hit the letter K on the keyboard
To Play PICTURES: Spacebar
- click on the PIC Button on the NEXT line of buttons
- click on the VCR & Picture tab
- (in the Picture column) – click on the picture
- Hit the SPACEBAR to FADE UP the picture
- Hit the SPACEBAR to FADE DOWN the picture
OPENING TITLES and LOWER THIRDS: FADE Button
Method 1 - Double Click the overlay you want to play (it should turn blue, if not click it again until it turns blue)
click the FADE button to fade it up and click the FADE button to fade down
Method 2 – Use the overlay number – select the number that matches the overlay you want to play by using the < or > arrows directly under the word Overlay which is located below the Live Monitor screen – then click the FADE button to fade up and click the FADE button to fade down
