Got Wiki? Bugs

Got Wiki? is a new piece of software that has not been tested to my level of satisfaction. If you find something wrong or odd then please leave a note at the top of the open section below...

Do you have ideas on how to improved this website? Then I want to hear from you link over to Wiki Suggestions? and leave a note.

Open

  • Nested page includes are not supported.
  • Preview page display an incorrect page title.
  • The in preview cancel button does not cancel the edit session.
  • Calendar is failing to creat valid references on the change logs.
  • Edit file locking. A new/improved method of edit control needs to be investigated. There seems to be a problem when two or more people are editing the same page.

I shall look into this issue -John Cumming

Closed

  • Including Wiki pages. Using 'Preview' on a page that contains an include will case the edit window to use the rendered version of the page. Following with a save action would then loss the include references.

''Fixed, the problem happended now the preview was rendered before the edit. I exposed this bug when the edit preview was updated. -John Cumming

  • The datestamps are using the timezone of the server. It shound be using local time of the web user.

Because many pages are cached, I can not change the datestamps after they have been initially created. I plan to add a prefered timezone rather than just use the server's timezone. -John Cumming

Datestamps used in connection to wiki pages should now be using PST. Due to the way the upload file system is implemented some datestamps for files will still display the timestamp for the file as the host filesystem sees it. I do not think this should be a problem and plan to take no futher action on this issue -John Cumming

  • Uploads are not working and require a root level password when there is a locally defined password.

This is is a little strange. The uploading and password are working fine in my test environment. This needs more investigation. -John Cumming

''Fixed typo :( -John Cumming
