It's Budget Time for Non-Profits and Local Governments
Please write to and tell your elected officials that you value their support of our Public Access services! Encourage them to continue funding to Siskiyou Media Council in their annual budgets by passing through a percentage of Northland Cable subscribers' franchise fees to keep the studio open and available for the public to use. In addition, you too can help if you are so inclined by clicking on the paypal button below to make your tax deductible contribution to Public Access today. Thank you!
This testimonial from viewers J. and S. Brennan:

Tricaster Training Coming This Summer
What is the most challenging part of production for our typical interview type shows? That computer that generates lower thirds, openings for your shows, and those closing credits - THE TRICASTER! In order to assist producers and their volunteer crews to improve their skills on this particular element of control room equipment, MCTV15 will be offering a series of workshops for volunteers in July on Tuesdays from 12 noon - 2 pm beginning July 6th. SPACE IS LIMITED - Registration is required by emailing us at info[at]mctv15.org We will collect responses and confirm participants by the end of this month.

Production Tips
Making television shows is not difficult when using modern equipment, good techniques, a team of willing volunteers, and pre-planning.
This month's tip: Field Equipment
MCTV15 producers in good standing have access to our new High Definition field camera - Canon Vixia HF 100 and portable LED lighting unit. Field productions can be fun, and get you headed into the world of editing. Please check in with staff for an overview of the steps involved in use of this camera to make Public Access productions as it is more involved and requires certain equipment or control room editing booking time to complete your project.
